Zinc prices rose by 2.3 percent

According to the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Lead and Zinc Industries and Mines Association, and quoted by "Felezat Online"The price of zinc on the London Metal Exchange on Friday, May 9, recorded a growth of 2.3 percent, equivalent to , compared to the last transactions (Thursday, May 8 of this year); so that on Thursday, May 8, zinc was priced at ,562 per ton, and its price increased to ,662 per ton the previous day.
Also, on Friday, May 9, the price of zinc on the LME increased by 1.6 percent, or , from ,581 to ,622 per ton compared to the previous week. Zinc stocks in the warehouses of the London Metal Exchange decreased by 325 tons on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 170,650 tons to 170,325 tons.
